Ensembles
Bel Canto
This ensemble is for ladies in 10-12 grades who have previous experience in choral singing and/or private vocal training. Acceptance into the ensemble is decided by audition. In addition to strong & competent vocal technique, good general musicianship is essential. Although there are no grade or age criteria, this class is usually for upperclassmen. They perform at all school concerts and district festival (LGPE), as well as performance opportunities throughout the community and beyond. |
Chorale
This mixed ensemble is for singers in 10-12 with previous choral singing experience and/or private vocal training. Acceptance into the ensemble is decided by audition. In addition to strong & competent vocal technique, good general musicianship is essential. Although there are no grade or age criteria, this class is usually for upperclassmen. Men's Chorus
This is an entry-level choir for 9th grade or any first year gentlemen without any or with limited musical experience. It is designed to give entering students an opportunity to increase their vocal ability and musicianship in preparation for other ensembles. Basic vocal technique, sight singing, and music theory will be taught in addition to a variety of treble voice choral repertoire in 2 to 4 parts. They perform at the Fall, Winter and Spring concerts as well as district festival (Large Group Performance Evaluation – LGPE), with other possible performing opportunities throughout the year. |
Women's Chorus

Vocal Academy
This class is designed to enhance the knowledge of the vocal major with a specific focus on individual and small group repertoire. Students will study various aspects of vocal technique including vocal pedagogy, International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), sight singing, music theory, and music history as it relates to vocal music. |
